What are the benefits of being part of THPT?
Undoubtedly, the greatest benefit of belonging to a high performing Multi Academy Trust is the ability to provide a robust educational system for the long-term sustainable success of all our schools, thereby ensuring that all our current and future young people are happy and successful.
THPT has a track record of school improvement delivered through ensuring all schools benefit from leadership excellence and collaborative working.
As a Trust THPT is deeply committed to developing our staff. We have found that learning from each other benefits all the children and young people whom we serve.
We do believe that this collaboration is the oxygen of school improvement. To that end, we have highly effective networks across our Trust which cover many areas including: curriculum design, teaching and learning, outcomes, safeguarding, behaviour, attendance, SEND and student mental health and wellbeing.
Staff from our Special School phase are already engaging with these networks and their feedback has been extremely positive.
CENTRAL SERVICE DIVISION
As a Trust THPT is very committed on enabling school leaders to focus on their core purpose of teaching and learning.
Therefore, we have a well-established central services team (HR, Estates, IT and Finance).
These teams are totally focussed upon ensuring we can make available to all our students the highest quality staff, facilities, IT infrastructure and resources.
The excellent work of our central services teams frees our Principals and their leadership teams to concentrate on the curriculum and the needs of the pupils.
BUILDING NEW SCHOOLS
THPT has invaluable experience of the processes involved in developing and building new schools.
Indeed, Three Rivers Academy, a brand new THPT school opened in 2018, was shortlisted for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Awards 2019 for the ‘Design through Innovation’ and ‘Community Benefit’ categories.
Our highly professional Project Team have already been working with the DfE and Surrey County Council and is now overseeing the delivery of the Fox Grove building project.
