Curriculum Aims
Our curriculum provides opportunities for pupils to develop the fundamental skills to enable them to engage with all areas of the curriculum:
- Promote Social Emotional Mental Health & Well-being to foster learners’ self-esteem and self- confidence, along with their ability to manage their own emotions
- Ensure pupils have access to high quality universal support to develop communication skills needed to participate fully in life and learning
- Inspire a love of learning through engagement and enjoyment
- Provide daily opportunities for pupils to become increasingly independent and develop their life and self-help skills
- Enable pupils to access a broad and balanced academic curriculum, helping them to identify their motivations and interests
- Empower pupils to keep themselves safe within school and the wider community- including online
